----
The example given by travis dot kroh
<?php
$foo="/path/to/file.ext";
echo $foo."<br />";
$bar=$foo;
echo basename($bar,".ext")."<br />";
echo $foo."<br />";
echo $bar."<br />";
?>
returns
/path/to/file.ext
file
/path/to/file.ext
/path/to/file.ext
as expected, without changing the variables $foo or $bar,
on windows PHP Version 4.3.10.
Looks like it may have been fixed.
Would be nice to know what versions have the bug and which don't listed here.
