note 71089 added to function.mssql-connect

Hi All I am trying get a script to connect MS Sql Express 2005. I have tried updating ntwdblib.dll to 2000.80.194.0 but when I do this the mssql extension doesnt seem to load, there is no info regarding it in phpinfo() and I get a 'Call to undefined function mssql_connect()' error when trying to use mssql. Any ideas?
