note 71418 added to function.header

If anyone could help me, I'm trying the new Sharepoint Designer 07 and it keeps adding three extra characters (Hex): EF BB BF into the beginning of my php file, which creates the "header already sent error" -_- I've played with the majority of the settings and this wont stop. Does anyone recognize what the extra three characters are?
