Regarding paul at santasoft point com's comment (02-Nov-2005): If you use signed integers in
MySQL to store your ip addresses, you will NOT be able to use MySQL's INET_NTOA() function to
convert these values to the dotted format, e.g. for creating nice sql reports that include ip
addresses.
