The code I posted previously only works in the actual root directory. The code below works in any
directory:
$server_root = str_replace( (str_replace( "/", '\\\\',
$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] )), "", $_SERVER['PATH_TRANSLATED'] )

if ( $server_root == "" ) $server_root = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']; //For APACHE
