note 71688 rejected from function.fsockopen by bjori

Note Submitter: kevburnsjr at yahoo dot com ---- In opening a socket and writing the contents to a file, i was getting some wierd errors. Namely: Random characters dispersed throughout the file output I opted to use cURL instead, and it immediately fixed the problem. Here's a tutorial for getting cURL set up on Apache/PHP/Windows: http://www.tonyspencer.com/mt/archives/2003/10/curl_with_php_a.htm Good Luck!
