setrawcookie() isn't entirely 'raw'. It will check the value for invalid characters, and then disallow the cookie if there are any. These are the invalid characters to keep in mind: ',;<space>\t\r\n\013\014'. Note that comma, space and tab are three of the invalid characters. IE, Firefox and Opera work fine with these characters, and PHP reads cookies containing them fine as well. However, if you want to use these characters in cookies that you set from php, you need to use header(). ---- Server IP: 203.220.0.234 Probable Submitter: 220.253.5.137 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.setrawcookie.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/71699 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71699/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71699/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71699/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71699/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71699/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71699/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71699 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/71699 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
