Note that there may be some unexpected side-effects that result from using either set_default_timezone() or the putenv("TZ=...") workalike for earlier PHP versions. ANY date formatted and output either by PHP or its apache host process will be unconditionally expressed in that timezone. This does indeed include the web server's logs and other output files and reports which by default usually do not include any indication of timezone. This has a further side-effect on log processing and analysis, obviously. ---- Server IP: 203.220.0.234 Probable Submitter: 203.206.162.119 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.date-default-timezone-set.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/71909 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71909/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71909/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71909/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71909/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71909/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71909/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/71909 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/71909 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
