The //magic quotes// feature should be taken outside and shot./ Even the name //magic quotes// is insulting. I hate the idea that php //magically// manipulates your data behind the scene, at the cost of control, performance, and //sanity//. All hosts that I /know of have //magic quotes// enabled. I assume most of them probably won't upgrade to php6 in the next 5 or /10 years.
