Regarding as to why:
$title = "Details for $result_row["first_name"]
$result_row["last_name"]";
won't work:
If you'll look, you'll see that you are
including ""s _within_ outer ""s --
this simply won't work. The parser
is going to see first_name and last_name
as being outside of the string.
Try enclosing first_name and last_name
in *SINGLE* quotes (') instead of DOUBLE
quotes, and see if that works.
