It doesn't appear that the return value of sleep() is consistent, at least among the PHP
versions I have access to -- I get NULL in PHP 4.4.2 (windows) and 4.3.10 (windows) and (int)0 in
PHP 5.1.6 (linux).
I'm guessing this is a difference between Windows and *nix PHP.
