my problem with the mssql connection was that the password was too long... i didn't test to
see the max char allowable... but if your mssql password is long (more than maybe 10-15)...try
shortening it to 6 just to test... this seemed to work for me...
the only error was "supplied argument is not a valid MS SQL-Link resource"
hope this saves someone else 4 hours :)
