I found that transparent session-tracking was making problems when using JavaScript
"pseudo" URLs on a page.
The following will lead to a JavaScript error if the user does not have cookies enabled and you are
running a session:
<a href="javascript:doSomething()">click</a>
the workaround is this:
(note the single quotes - this is important)
<a href='' onClick="doSomething(); return false;">click</a>
