This is a note that you can have it in account if these working with String variables.
For example

Output:
Val: 10
Another example
<?php
$v1 = "0010LoQueSea";
echo "Val: ". (int) $v1;
?>
Output:
Val: 10
Or

$v1 = "001Y0LoQueSea";
echo "Val: ". (int) $v1;
?>
Output:
Val: 1
