To force the loading of a page using https:// instead of http:// - maybe for a shopping cart checkout page - you can use the following
snippet of code at the very top of your page:
if(!$_SERVER['HTTPS']){header("Location: https://www.yoursite.com/page_that_must_be_secure.php");
}
