My PHP 4 (running as CGI with an Apache server on Windows) returns
_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'] = "c:\php\php.exe"
, which is definitely not the absolute pathname of the currently executing script. This seems to
depend on the way PHP is configured to run.
