----
Internet Explorer will not accept certain filenames in the filename attribute of the
Content-Disposition header. It will Sit 'N Spin until it finally times out. The following will
not work when $fn contains "Web", "Browser" or "WebBrowser" (or any
case variation thereof):
$fn = $row["sFilename"];
$fs = $row["lFileSize"];
header("Content-Type: application/octet-stream");
header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=$fn");
header("Content-length: $fs");
echo $row["blobData"];
Guess I should have looked here first. Yes, it does seem we're all searching for workarounds
for IE.
