An Interesting note about GD.
I am running both 4.4.0 (through mod_php) and 5.2.1 (through CGI) on apache 1.3 on CentOS (Linux)
with GD working on both. Perhaps because it is running as an apache mod or for some other reason,
Making 200px height thumbnails from 550px height images takes ~3 times as long in 4.4.0 as it does
in 5.2.1. I don't know why (and I'm not complaining) I was just wondering if anyone could
explain that to me?
