note 75201 added to function.uniqid

Just to note this function is fairly slow, and can bring your script to a crawl if it is in a loop. Strangely if you run it as uniqid('', true) it runs much more quickly ---- Server IP: 216.235.15.211 Probable Submitter: 24.85.144.33 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.uniqid.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/75201 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75201/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75201/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75201/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75201/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75201/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75201/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75201 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/75201 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
