Per Geoffrey Thubron's comments, every include must in itself be a valid PHP file; you cannot begin a control block in one file and end it in another. Think of the structure as a tree; all your broadest code must be handled in the page to which the user navigates, which can then branch to multiple includes as necessary, which can themselves branch. As a side note, your <p>some conditional content</p> and such will not be output - they will generate parse errors themselves. You would need to use echo, print or the <? ?><p>some additional content</p><? ?> method described in this article in order to achieve your intended result. ---- Server IP: 216.235.15.211 Probable Submitter: 209.89.152.159 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.basic-syntax.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/75265 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75265/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75265/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75265/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75265/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75265/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75265/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75265 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/75265 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
