Spent just two hours of debugging mystical 404 errors on IIS6. Finally noticed that the MSI
installer version happily registers an application mapping as follows:
(in IIS manager, directory tab, configuration, application mapping)
.php is mapped to "C:\Program Files\PHP\\php5isapi.dll"
The extra backslash breaks nicely everything. Wonder how it got there?
