note 75455 added to function.mail

The statement "For the sending of large amounts of email, see the » PEAR::Mail, and » PEAR::Mail_Queue packages." is inaccurate as these packages merely use the PHP mail() function or fsockopen. No magic there. ---- Server IP: 64.71.164.2 Probable Submitter: 140.208.3.83 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mail.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/75455 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75455/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75455/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75455/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75455/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75455/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75455/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/75455 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/75455 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
