Hi. I'm trying to compile php5 with zlib on SUSE 9, but i have problems.
I execute:
# ./configure --with-zlib=/usr/lib/zlib.so
and the answer is:
...
checking for PCRE support... yes
checking for ZLIB support... yes
checking if the location of ZLIB install directory is defined... no
configure: error: Cannot find libz
Where can i define the zlib directory?
I executed: # whereis zlib and the answer is:
/usr/lib/zlib.so /usr/include/zlib.h /usr/share/man/man3/zlib.3
I dont know what's the problem, can anybody help me?
