To get rid of the '1' == '01' problem, which are definitely not the same in my
application, i also compare strlen in cases where these values can occure.
Like:
((mb_strlen($a) == mb_strlen($b)) && ($a == $b))
I have not yet found a way to use these values in a select case statement.
