If you are getting an error like 'cannot display
<image_name>, because it contains errors';
then most likely you have put your PHP script
inside an HTML markup like this:
<html>
<head></head>
<body>
<?php
...
?>
</body>
</html>
This will cause trouble with image/<image_type> header
request.
So include only plain PHP code in the .php file which is
supposed to generate the image.
