Watch out. You can define a new constant with the name NULL with define("NULL","FOO");. But you must use the function constant("NULL"); to get it's value. NULL without the function call to the constant() function will still retrieve the special type NULL value. Within a class there is no problem, as const NULL="Foo"; will be accessible as myClass::NULL. ---- Server IP: 194.109.193.76 Probable Submitter: 82.92.18.135 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.types.null.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/76290 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76290/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76290/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76290/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76290/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76290/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76290/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76290 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/76290 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
