If anyone is stuck with PHP5 version <5.0.3, and needs to use strtotime functions:
<?php
function strtotimefix($strtotime)
{
return time() + (strtotime($strtotime) - strtotime('now'));
}
strtotime('+10 seconds'); // will not work as expected
strtotimefix('+10 seconds'); // should work as expected
?>
