"the code is executed on the server" This is an important concept for the first-time PHP programmer to understand, so that when you get into string formatting later on, you understand the difference between formatting the on-screen content (as parsed by your browser) and formatting the HTML code (as returned by the server). For example "/n" starts a new line in the HTML code, and its results are only seen if you look at the "source HTML". It is NOT the same as <br>! ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 68.145.109.125 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/introduction.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/76515 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76515/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76515/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76515/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76515/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76515/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76515/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/76515 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/76515 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
