http://www.tellinya.com/art2/79/regexp-links-from-html A simple, still not short, function to extract hyperlinks from html along with attributes using some preg_match_all calls. It will also allow you to find those with rel=nofollow and verify your link exchanges for example. It also converts IMG alt attributes to text to place text instead of images inside links.
