note 77574 rejected from faq by nlopess

Note Submitter: yasi_italy2001 at yahoo dot com ---- hello ,i have installed apache 2.2 and php 5 on my pc. and i can see the apache running service in my task bar.(the green triangel is displayed.but when I open apache service monitor the start button is disabled and the connect button is enabled!. my main problem is that when I enter the file i have in php (such as http:\\localhost\myfile.php) with the code like this ' the time is <?php echo date ('H:i:s');?> and the date is <?php echo date ('j F Y');?> ' all of this code is shown in IE and the code does'n work? what is the problem?
