note 77963 added to function.session-start

Ran into an odd issue, consider the following <?php session_start(); die(); ?> Normally, we'd expect our sessions to start and then the script to die. The issue I've ran into is session_start timing out. So if I do: <?php die(); session_start(); ?> Obviously, the page just dies. Anyone ever had this issue?
