Comparing infinite values gives REALLY STRANGE results.
INF<INF is true
INF>INF is true
INF==INF is false
INF===INF is true
So if someone tells you that $a==$b implies $a===$b then you can tell them no, $a=$b=INF is a
counterexample. :-/
