I am using the following code in my destructor:

if(isset($mysql_connection))
{
mysql_close($mysql_connection);
unset($mysql_connection);
}
?>
With the code above I have no problems and no warnings appears on multiple calls to the desctructor,
as the mysql_close function is actually called only once.
