Please note that some improperly-configured web servers can remove TMP and TEMP environment
variables completely (so that $_ENV['TMP'] will be empty string). E.g. this was the case
with ancient versions of this Web Server for CD-ROMs: http://www.stunnix.com/prod/aws/overviews.shtml
In such case, tempnam() function can have strange behaviour. User's code relying on TMP and
TEMP environment variables will also misbehave.
