If created your DOMDocument object using loadHTML() (where the source is from another site) and want to pass your changes back to the browser you should make sure the HTTP Content-Type header matches your meta content-type tags value because modern browsers seem to ignore the meta tag and trust just the HTTP header. For example if you're reading an ISO-8859-1 document and your web server is claiming UTF-8 you need to correct it using the header() function. <?php header('Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1'); ?> ---- Server IP: 209.41.74.194 Probable Submitter: 76.200.97.118 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.dom-domdocument-savehtml.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/79444 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/79444/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/79444/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/79444/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/79444/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/79444/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/79444/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/79444 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/79444 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
