----
experienced weird issue
on Apache/2.0.54
with mod_rewrite on
running PHP 5.2.2
<?php
// doing this:
header("HTTP/1.1 200 OK", true);
header("Status: 200 OK", true);
// and then
header("Location: /",true);
// a bit later
?>
causes 500 Internal server error
error_log says "[Mon Dec 03 02:39:58 2007] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Request exceeded
the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use
'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel
debug' to get a backtrace."
problem gone if first two lines commented out or replaced with <?php header(' ', true,
200);?>
if anyone can tell me exactly why this causes a meltdown in apache, please email me. thanks!
