Note Submitter: euan at c4 dot co dot za ---- Hi, I'm new to PHP and installed PHP5 + Apache2.2 + MySQL5 on Windows. Take my advice: DON'T TAKE THE EASY ROUTE AND TRY THE MSI !!!! Rather download the zip and follow the manual instructions. I struggled with the MSI for a week and eventually backtracked and gone the zip file/manual install route. I was up & running within 5mins! Remember to set your path, copy the libmysql.dll to $WINDOWS/SYSTEM32 and edit the httpd.conf yourself. That's it! Euan.
