Note Submitter: blake912 at mac dot com ---- Whether your on a windows or mac I think dreamweaver is an extremely great investment. If you are writing a php file it has widgets available to help you code. 9 times out of 10 you will not be using these widgets. However, the different syntax colors in the environment are superb. Another thing that I love is the ability to remotely manage servers (local or external) inside dreamweaver! I work on a Mac most of the time, however I am sometimes forced to work on windows and I love dreamweaver on both. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MAC USERS: if you have problems with Pages, or text edit not cooperating with file extensions... it is well worth doing your research to find a free text editor that will work with the file extensions you need. I honestly believe dreamweaver is a great investment!
