I pulled my hair out for 10 hours trying to figure out why my CGI Wrappers would spit out the shell script and not run the code. From: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=341164&highlight=apache+php "PHP4 needs a specific configuration so that it won't try to execute the starter script. Edit /etc/php4/cgi/php.ini, search for cgi.fix_pathinfo and set it to 1. If you don't do this, PHP5 will work fine (it has cgi.fix_pathinfo compiled right in), but PHP4 will simply output the starter script. (You can even put <?php phpinfo (); ?> inside the starter script and will see the PHP information.)" ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 128.82.160.95 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/migration5.cli-cgi.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/81764 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/81764/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/81764/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/81764/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/81764/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/81764/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/81764/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/81764 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/81764 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
