I have spent several hours working trying to get up and running with SOAP. I've made
significant progress and have resolved several issues, but I'm really stuck on one last issue.
The code that represents what I'm trying to do is:
$wsdl = "http://www.webservicex.net/whois.asmx";
$client = new SoapClient(null, array('soap_version' => SOAP_1_1, 'trace'
=> 1, 'uri' => "http://www.webservicex.net", 'location'
=> $wsdl));
$result = $client->__soapCall("GetWhoIS", array("HostName" =>
"domainname.com"), array("soapaction" => "http://www.webservicex.net/GetWhoIS"));
I have this same code working without parameters, but not with parameters. I have tried many, many
variations on the second argument in the __soapCall call. I have put an array around it that has the
'GetWhoIS' key. I have dropped the key 'HonstName'. I tried to convert it to an
object. None of these worked.
This works fine in WSDL mode, but I need to be able to make it work in both modes.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
