After one week of the hard work to make the mssql_connect and the other ms sql functions to work
with sql server 2000. I tried every thing posted in this page... but no luck.
My environment:
Windows 2003 server sp1
php version : PHP Version 5.2.0RC4
With Zend Engine v2.2.0
Apache Version: Apache/2.2.3 (Win32) PHP/5.2.0RC4
Php.ini has the extension
I Copied ntwdblib.dll to the Correct places as mentioned in this page.
I have 2 machines one working and the other not working php, apache and windows versions is
identical.
And
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
Show me in the first machine mssql module loaded but not loaded in the other machine.
FINALLY I Checked the PHP_mssql.dll in the ext folder I found it different in the 2 machines I
copied the file to the other machine both of them now working....!!!!!!!
It seams the same php version distribute different version of the php_mssql.dll
The php_mssql.dll worked with me:
PHP_MSSQL.dll
File version: 5.2.0.0
Library Ver :7.0
File Size: 48.00 KB
Company: PHP Group
By : Frank M. Kromann
To check this info Right click on the php_mssql.dll file -> properties ->version
Hope this help some body outâ¦
Now I will eat my banana :-)
Thank you...
