I would strongly recommend that you use regular expressions instead of strlen, strstr, strpos and friends at all times if at all possible. Trust me, the few hours you spend on learning regular expressions will save you ten-fold that time in writing code, plus it'll probably be less buggy. http://www.regular-expressions.info/ is a great starting point. If you're a Mac user, use http://reggyapp.com/ to tweak your regular expressions until they correctly match your test data. I'm sure there are similar tools for Windows. ---- Server IP: 212.63.193.10 Probable Submitter: 194.47.156.66 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.strstr.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/82532 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/82532/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/82532/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/82532/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/82532/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/82532/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/82532/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/82532 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/82532 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
