Note Submitter: richard dot thomas at psysolutions dot com ---- My apologies, I appear to have unfairly maligned Lewis's code. I was attempting to parse a form submission which, of course, uses \r\n for end-of-line. Since the quote was not the last character in the field, it was maintained in the array. The answer, of course, is to strip \r from the input with str_replace (or similar). Once I did this, the CSV parsed fine. If the mods would be kind enough to delete this and my previous post, it'd be appreciated.
