An error like this:
Warning: ftp_get() [function.ftp-get]: Download in progress. in /htdocs/yourscript.php
that's not a PHP error. "Download in progress" is the FTP server's answer to the
file request.
I received this error randomly between ftp_nlist() and ftp_get() callings.
The fllowing solved my problem:
sleep(1);
$filelist=ftp_nlist();
sleep(1);
ftp_get();
...
sleep(1);
$filelist=ftp_nlist();
sleep(1);
ftp_get();
