The FAQ entry for *why* PHP shouldn't be used with a threaded Apache MPM is pretty vague and
unsatisfying as it doesn't give a technical reason, only some vague rubbish about clay and
glue.
I suspect the answer is going to be due to lack of thread safety. If that's the case, just say
so.
