ini_get() return the current value of the configuration option.
But the get_cfg_var() always get the value from config file, php.ini.
This is the test code:
ini_set('sendmail_from', 'verdana@263.net');
echo '<br /> <br />';
echo '<br /> Current Value:';
var_dump(ini_get('sendmail_from'));
echo '<br /> Value in cfg file:';
var_dump(get_cfg_var('sendmail_from'));
