Sorry, just a minor correction to my code below, apparently, it the endDate does not include itself,
so the line that reads:
$endtime = strtotime($endDate);
should instead read
$endtime = strtotime("+1 day ", strtotime($endDate));
Also, I'm using an old version of php (4.1.2), so the 'next $day' may function
differently according to the comment above.
