The session support does not use the IP address for validation. It is based on cookies and URL
rewriting.
The reason you lose your session when closing your browser and reconnecting to your ISP (so you are
changing your IP), is that sessions are only valides for the visit on your web site, not more.
Changing your IP address will not affect your session except if you close your browser.
