We reject notes of that type because it would be better suited as
a suggestion and bug report that will help to improve the official
documentation. Please instead report your findings at
http://bugs.php.net/ as a documentation bug, where we can
incorporate
it as a permanent entry into the official manual as opposed to a
temporary user note.
The reason behind this is that most people will just read the
documentation page itself, and then restate what was said in your
note. As a result, the pages get cluttered with many duplicate posts.
In addition, many third-party websites will mirror the manual
entries, but not the user notes.
By reporting findings such as yours as a bug, you're doing an even
greater job of helping the community than providing a user note which
may or may not even be read.
If you have any further questions, comments, or complaints, please
feel free to let us know via this mailing list and we'll be happy to
look into it. And thank you very much for your continued support of
the project.
