note 85172 added to function.mt-rand

Re: keith at ourwebsite dot ca Here's another way to do it, in one line :) <?php echo '#' . str_pad( base_convert( mt_rand(0, ( 255*255*255) ), 10, 16 ), 6, '0' ) . "\n"; ?> str_pad is there in case mt_rand chooses a number that will generate a hex value with less than 6 characters. (you could leave that out but it's not a very clean way to write the hex colors is it :) ---- Server IP: 216.235.15.211 Probable Submitter: 24.68.129.82 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mt-rand.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/85172 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85172/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85172/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85172/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85172/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85172/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85172/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85172 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/85172 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
